FORBIDDEN FLAME IS A STRICTLY DIGITAL ZINE THAT WILL INCLUDE AN ADD-ON, WILDFIRE, AND RELATED DIGITAL MERCH.

As this is a collaborative project we have an interest in accepting both artists and writers contributors. Contributor Application Guidelines can be found below.

Application Guidelines

All aspiring contributors MUST:
❖ Be 18 years old or older.
❖ Have A Discord account.

Artists

Sample Requirements
❖ A minimum of 3 samples, 2 of which must be fully colored with a background.
❖ At least 1 sample MUST be NSFW
❖ At least 1 sample must be related to the BNHA fandom (preferably ft. a Todoroki family member but not required)
❖ Portfolio link (optional)

Judging Criteria
❖ Style & Color: Consistent style (within the same work) and consistent color.
❖ Balance: Subjects are proportionate and the image appears balanced.
❖ Character Recognition: characters should be identifiable.
❖ Concept (pitch): You will be required to provide at least one pitch detailing what you are interested in drawing for this zine. Two is preferred featuring different pairings than your first but not required.

❖ Please note: All Artists will be asked if they are interested in being a Cover Artist and/or Merch Artist . If selected as a Merch Artist contributors will still be given an opportunity to contribute to the zine .

Writers

Sample Requirements
❖ At least 2 samples that are a minimum of 2K words each, 3K max (excerpts from longer works are allowed, but please limit this to one per application).
❖ At least 1 sample MUST be NSFW
❖ At least 1 sample MUST be related to the BNHA fandom (preferably ft. a Todoroki family member but not required)

Judging Criteria
❖ Literacy: Use of proper spelling and grammar.
❖ Character Portrayal: Keeping the characters identifiable throughout the story.
❖ Pacing & Flow: Keeping the pacing of a story steady, without rushing or plot holes within the allotted word count.
❖ Imagery and Storyline: The ability to hold readers interest and bring the story to life via details.
❖ Concept (pitch): You will be required to provide at least one pitch detailing what you are interested in writing for this zine. Two is preferred featuring different pairings than your first but not required.

HOW WILL CONTRIBUTORS BE COMPENSATED?
❖ AT THE MINIMUM CONTRIBUTORS WILL BE OFFERED A FREE DIGITAL COPY OF THE ZINE, IT’S ADD-ON AND DIGITAL MERCH. IF SALES ALLOW FURTHER COMPENSATION MAY BE POSSIBLE.

What is Wildfire?
❖ As the Todoroki family's incestuous bond is the overall theme of this zine. Our add-on, Wildfire will be showcasing this alongside other characters. For example, within character dynamics such as TodoBakuDabi, DabiTodoKami, EndHawksDabi etc.

HOW MANY CONTRIBUTORS WILL BE ACCEPTED?
❖ CURRENTLY WE HAVE AN INTEREST IN ACCEPTING 20-25 ARTISTS AND 10-15 WRITERS. HOWEVER, THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON PROJECT NEEDS.

Can Pseuds and alternate accounts be used?
❖ Yes. For the comfort of mods and contributors alike, PSEUDS OR PSEUDONYMS, as well as alternate accounts CAN BE USED to maintain anonymity. Those that apply to be a part of this zine will be presented with the opportunity to specify this during apps. Additionally, mods and contributors will be expected to keep the aliases of those aboard the project private as part of our privacy policy.

Are other characters allowed?
❖ Yes. However, this will be limited to our Wildfire add-on as the Todoroki family's Incestuous bond will remain the focus of both the main zine and this add-on. Wildfire will allow for this bond to be showcased in a way that other characters are also included.

How will canonically minor characters be depicted?
❖ Our aim is to not restrict our contributors. Thus whether or not characters are depicted at their canon ages, aged up or otherwise will be solely at our contributors' discretions.

What type of content will be allowed?
❖ As our ultimate goal is not to restrict our contributors we do not currently have any content restrictions in place. Any restrictions that may later be placed will be handled on a case by case basis. However, we would like to touch on some of the popular problematic themes that are most definitely allowed.
These include:
✓ Incest
✓ Rape/Non-Con/Dub-Con
✓ Kinks/Fetishes (watersports, marking/branding, etc)
✓ Minor Characters (canon ages, aged up or otherwise)
Please note, all works featured as part of Forbidden Flame and its Wildfire add-on will include respective CW/TW.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM WORD COUNT FOR WRITERS?
❖ WRITERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO WRITE A MINIMUM OF 2K FOR FORBIDDEN FLAME, WHILE WILDFIRE WRITERS WILL NEED TO WRITE A MINIMUM OF 2.5K. HOWEVER, 3K IS THE MAX FOR BOTH WRITERS OF THE MAIN ZINE OR THE WILDFIRE ADD-ON.

ARE TRADITIONAL ARTISTS ALLOWED?
❖ NO. WE WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTING DIGITAL ARTISTS FOR THIS PROJECT.

ARE COLLABS ALLOWED?
❖ YES . CONTRIBUTORS WILL BE ASKED ON CONTRIBUTOR APPS IF THEY ARE INTERESTED IN COLLABING.

Will accepted contributors be given their choice of ship?
Popular ships may be limited, as we would like the zine to have a variety of Todocest ships. Contributors will be asked on contributor applications to provide their ship preferences.

Can applicants request feedback on their applications?
❖ Due to the high volume of applications we have received, we will not be offering app feedback.

How will antis be handled?
❖ Everyone is entitled to their opinion including antis. We ask that those who are not in support of the project do not interact with us or our contributors. Likewise, we will not be engaging or indulging their antics.
Any behavior that is considered malicious or threatening will be handled according to Twitter and Discord's TOS. Additionally, for the comfort of mods and contributors, we will be allowing the use of PSEUDS OR PSEUDONYMS.
